Kim Howells, East London based multimedia stylist, finished her Fashion Textiles degree course at Brighton University and moved straight to the capital’s Dazed and Confused magazine as an assistant to Nicola Formichetti. Enjoying life in the fast lane, Howells swiftly asserted herself as a stylist in her own right and now regularly contributes to Dazed, Dazed Japan, Dazed Digital, V and V VMAN. As happy working with menswear as womenswear, Howells embraces the multimedia ethic and is as successful working in print as she is online and, most recently, in film. Her music videos for Skunk Anansie, for whom she is a full time stylist, and Esser have gained as much repute as have her fashion films for London’s rising stars including Fred Butler, Piers Atkinson, NOKI and Hannah Marshall. Her impressive list of clients who work with her on runway shows, consultancy and lookbooks include NOKI, Fred Butler, Hannah Marshall, Jaiden rVa James and Piers Atkinson
